Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ProtoTrack handles information for the Discord application named Daily Escalation Target Loot and the related ProtoTrack bot pages.

Information We Collect

ProtoTrack collects only the information needed to operate the Target Loot Discord bot:

  • Discord server ID, server name, selected channel ID, selected channel name, and setup status for Target Loot subscriptions.
  • The Discord user ID and username of the person who configured the Target Loot bot for a server.
  • Publish status and error messages returned by Discord, such as Missing Permissions or Missing Access.
  • Basic technical information needed to run and secure the service, such as request timestamps and server logs.

How We Use Information

We use this information to provide and maintain ProtoTrack features, including:

  • Posting Daily Escalation Target Loot to configured Discord channels.
  • Showing setup and publish status to ProtoTrack administrators.
  • Operating the /targetloot slash commands.
  • Detecting setup errors, preventing abuse, and keeping the service reliable.

Discord Data

ProtoTrack uses Discord API data only as needed to provide the bot's stated functionality. The Target Loot bot does not read general server messages, does not track private conversations, and does not require privileged gateway intents for its normal Target Loot publishing flow.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by hosting providers, database providers, Discord, or other service providers that are necessary to operate ProtoTrack. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or to protect the security and integrity of the service.

Retention

Discord server subscription records are kept while a server uses the bot. If a server disables the bot or requests removal, the related subscription record can be removed or disabled.

Your Choices

  • Server admins can stop Target Loot posts by running /targetloot disable or removing the bot from the server.
  • Server admins can change the target channel by running /targetloot setup again.
  • You can request deletion or correction of information associated with your server by contacting ProtoTrack.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information handled by ProtoTrack. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

ProtoTrack is intended for Discord users and gaming communities that are allowed to use Discord. It is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
